View Full Version : Pagulayan and Acejo make it to Lonely Planet International- Congratulations!
Nick Tuason 08-11-2010, 11:28 AM Just wanted to update the community and wish congratulations to two fellow DPP Shooters, Dan Pagulayan and Nanding Acejo who submitted their photos for the Lonely Planet Postcards section. We chose their images to be featured for our upcoming Lonely Planet Philippines Issue 2.
The most welcome news came from an email I just received from LONELY PLANET INTERNATIONAL (LONDON) complementing us on our wonderful photos. They also asked if I could secure permission from Dan and Nanding to have their photos featured in the Lonely Planet International edition.
So big congratulations to both Dan Pagulayan and Nanding Acejo. Not only are you going to be featured locally, you will also be published by the largest and most respected name in travel, THE LONELY PLANET.
Hopefully this could be the first of many more contributions from the Philippines. We're glad that two DPP shooters have paved the way.
Dan and Nanding, if you guys catch, you may want to post your photos on this thread.

Nick Tuason 08-13-2010, 10:18 AM You don't know how proud this makes me. Now I know that the Lonely Planet International boys are looking at us seriously, and submitting to Lonely Planet Philippines doesn't necessarily mean it stays local. Dan and Nanding are the first to break through. This won't be the last for sure.
Our intention is to make the best looking Lonely Planet magazine in the world, better than France, Spain, Brazil, India, Singapore, and we have an ace card in our back pocket......the DPP shooter.

Now, this is what I'm talking about! As what the hip hop community and artists would say: "Filipinos represent!" :):):)
+1 on this Sir Nick! Cheers! :)
