i follow the basic instruction except i used 18-40watts compact flourescent bulbs
(i bought at divisoria at P 40.00 ea.)

even with 18-40 watts bulbs it is still not bright enough. so you have to use a tripod
because of low speed.

what i did was add a camera holder in the center of the DIY ringlight. this is more convenient to use than the tripod.

should you be interested to see the picture of my DIY ringlight i can take pictures of it and email to you. sorry i do not know how to upload pictures in this thread.

Here you go rudy. Here's one.

On flickr just right click the image itself and get the URL from the properties. Copy it here and remove the letters after ".jpg" on the URL. :)

Btw, good job on the DIY ringlight
