Fishing spiders are associated with aquatic habitats where they feed on prey that live on or under the water. Some species can even form an air bubble under the water in which they wait for prey, but this species stays out of the water on nearby trees. This spider is native to the extreme North American southeast.

it's Acanthosuria Chacoana bro.. i feed them different cultured roaches.. Madagascar hissing roach and dubia roach.. they're also may pet LOL

All of my pictures of reptiles, scorpions and spiders, including tarantulas and black widows which were posted here in DPP were taken in California.

We moved to the East Coast just recently and I gave away my only pets (2 baby Red-Eared water sliders), because airline regulations do not allow them to be carried onboard the plane's cabin.

I might start raising butterflies for a change. I will release them after having taken their pictures from the egg stage to adulthood.
