I've been reading a lot of good praises about Digiprint so I decided to try their service for the very first time.

I went to their SM Centerpoint branch and inquired about how much are the print. P9 for a 4r is a bit expensive since I usually get my prints done in Kodak Trinoma or Kodak Promenade for P6.50 for bulk processing. I don't mind paying an extra P2.50 for each print if the prints would come out awesome as what I have expected. I was told to come back in 30 minutes as the print would be done right away. I went back to the shop and the staff told me that my prints are not ready yet. They showed me a sample photo and said that there was something wrong with their printer. I don't mind waiting again but when they tried to print it out again, I saw that they were using a very tiny Canon Home desktop printer. I do print my own pictures at home but I did not expect Digiprint to be using a home desktop printer. I was kinda expecting a hi tech machine I usually see in Kodak shops and not a home printer. I just told the guy to never mind the printing since their desktop printer was having problems.

I have nothing against home desktop printers, I know that they do print good because i have one at home but I was expecting more from Digiprint.

The guys were nice and very apologetic and told me that P6 per print if i wanted my pics sent via courier and I decided not proceed.

It was my first try and maybe my second time would be better.

Digiprint can either print your images within the premises of their branch OR send it to the main lab in Pasay City. Usually, prints done within the branch are inkjet prints.

I drop of my files at a Digiprint branch and have it sent to the main lab in Pasay for printing.

The prints are then sent back to me via courier.

I think the Digiprint branch you went to forgot to clarify if you wanted on the spot inkjet prints or if you wanted photo lab machine prints :D

HTH.

Cheers!

Hi Brian,

We have two kinds of printing service - Instant and Print and Deliver. I believe the one offered to you was the instant, which is really P9 for 4R size. We recommend the Print and Deliver Digital Prints as your prints are done in our Digital minilab overnight, therefore delivered to you the next day. A 4R sized print for the Print and Deliver service is only at P6. Prints are delivered for FREE once the transaction reaches P200 and above (about 31pcs of 4R). Instants are often times used for those who really cant wait for their prints or for Rush ID photos.

As for the printer issue, will inform the Operations regarding the said matter. We apologize for the inconvenience that we have caused and shall settle the matter asap.

Thank you for the information and we hope this will not stop you from trying our services again. For more questions/comments, please do not hesitate to contact me at all times. You may send me a PM here or email me directly at ddollente@digiprint.com.ph.

Thanks,
