With Apples recent update of the iPhone 4 including a back illuminated sensor 5 Mpix camera that could capture images this clean (above) and 720p HD video coupled with a fairly efficient mobile version of iMovie is this the impending future of the majority of digicam owners whose sole purpose of taking pictures is to be able to upload to facebook or youtube, and or print (rarely) a maximum size of 4R with it (on which the resolution is enough). Any 12Mpx picture taken at good light then resized at 640X.... will end up looking sharp and clean. But still.. Lets see these mushes at full size w/o post sharpening and the evidences of those mushy sensor will really come out.

slight correction, AT&T doesnt sell openline (unlocked) iPhone4s since the new iPhone4 came out... the prices you mentioned are out-of-contract iPhone4s that are still tied up to AT&T, it's just that the buyer is not binded to any NEW contract or plan that AT&T are offering.
