Sugar overload = forgetful in readjusting the ISO - i was on an extremely high number for the "kitchen" prep - back to normal ... HAY ... malaking HAY HAY HAY. Anyway, did what I can do to reduce the noise (there, I said it first ... so just imagine - na walang noise ... don't get me wrong though, I love "noise" if used in the right image).

i was going to post na rin my pics when i got home but for some reason, i couldnt get to the DPP website, it was down or something i think. anyway, it was a blast shooting with you guys, thats what i havent really done in a long time (ro just shoot with fellow enthusiats). great to meet all of you (Levi, Ricky, Allan-double L, Alan-one L, Red, Chris, Rosalie, Dindin, the list goes on) and am looking forward to Rickys food lighting tips. il see if i could ask some of my friends too if they could let us shoot in their places.

by the way, im going to have a shoot for my uncle next sat (jan 7) in his reseort/ casino. if any of you want to join for whatever (shooting, swimming, casino, shooting, golf, shooting, relaxing, shooting,-you get it), let me know k. the place is called fiesta casino and its right beside eastridge golf and country club. the place is spectacular and its near the laguna lake. it could also be another EB of ours (scenery with us as models-haha) but its quite far for those who live in makati though since its in binangonan, around an hour from katipunan. il be bringing my girl and my Mom though so my ride will be full. if anyones interested, we could have a convoy going there, meet up in mcdo katipunan at 1pm sharp.

Hey Alwyn - its always good to start with the basics and not rush the learning process. Sometimes, we get tempted to (I'm a classic case too) to rush into things ... when we dont even have the foundations to go into the advance phases. I'm not sure at what level you're in now ... I for one am not shy to admit that I'm a newbie in this hobby --- and despite the numerous books and discussions that I've had with pros, I'm still going to attend basic photography classes.

Why'd you chicken out?

It was the last B&W/photography workshop that Wig did that time (for a limited 10 students) ... i was still young and silly back then, didn't realize the opportunity until after a year when i really decided to go into photography. But i was a frequent visitor of his Baguio studio after that. I can still remember when Wig Tysman said (while i was marvelling through his B&W full frame prints}... "ikaw kasi eh, nag chicken out ka" ... arrghhh!!!! i really should have taken that slot. But it was that experience with him that attracted me most into pursuing photography... and the story goes on....:(

It was the last B&W/photography workshop that Wig did that time (for a limited 10 students) ... i was still young and silly back then, didn't realize the opportunity until after a year when i really decided to go into photography. But i was a frequent visitor of his Baguio studio after that. I can still remember when Wig Tysman said (while i was marvelling through his B&W full frame prints}... "ikaw kasi eh, nag chicken out ka" ... arrghhh!!!! i really should have taken that slot. But it was that experience with him that attracted me most into pursuing photography... and the story goes on....:(
