Sarao Motors Jeepney Factory in Las Pinas. This is the place where the famous Manila jeepneys are handcrafted according to clients taste. Jeepneys are built, piece by piece in individual production. Excerp from A world travel Site.

LPCC WAS given a special privilege to shoot on-site. Which includes their famous owner and passenger jeepneys. Not only that, but we are able to witness how they handcrafted each piece of metal to produce a very colorful and uniquely styled motor vehicle!

We don't see jeepneys anymore with so many horses on the hoods, mirrors, lots of long steel antenas, violet lights inside that when you smile your teeth becomes so white hahaha... plus the track tapes that they stock together as their dashboards :))

1. Jeeps and other inanimate objects generally have well defined lines. It makes it a lot easier to isolate the objects edges from the rest of the picture.

2. I'm not sure why but even the most minor niggle get magnified when making adjustments on human subjects. Get the skin tone just slightly off, and that pretty model becomes a monster... miss just a few tiny pixels while defining a mask layer, and the image is ruined

But still, on the rare occasion I get it right, the reward is a much more meaningful photograph.

My personal perceptions? the second one? it may give more emphasis on both subjects by opening just a little more... assuming the the subjects are two -since both fall on the 3rds intersections... thats just me... again, in matters of taste... there are no disputes! hahaha!

The play with light is good. Some pictures have narrative dimension and those are the ones that stand out from this batch.

With Manny for me it is just a grace if you just watch and learn while handing things out and helping out with the shoot! hahaha.. you should know! You were there! Clay you! We're all changed I'm sure but there is still our 15 year old Belle who puts all our work to shame! hahaha! Not to mention Richie... Hope he joins us.. Adrian, he's from Cavite and he takes awsome photos just from nowhere! And the true mark of a good photographer/artist is their humility... ang babait regardless of such giftedness!
