Hi,

sorry for the lame question... i'm new to the philippines and new to dpp... i'm still having a hard time understanding all the "shortened" version of words... like "BV" for bad vibes, etc...

but what does EB stand for???

and is that where I would post group shoot requests??? thank you!

-allan

EB means EyeBall. It is when people meet up for the first time in a certain place.

hahaha... thanks karla and ernie! Got it... I think that's the first time I heard the term Eyeball used for a meet and greet!

Thanks David, for the digital glossary! Got that all mastered already... how about one for philippines specific terms? haha

Salamat!

being the text capital of the world, you can really expect a lot of these new abbreviated words from time to time. Especially the young people, sometimes i just kept wondering what language they are using :D

Check out www.urbandictionary.com (http://www.urbandictionary.com) and look up JEJEMON.

You don't want to be counted as one of these people. Its a real sub-culture and one that represents brain-dead, liquified gray matter and plain laziness in communicating. Add to that obnoxious.

It's even more amazing how they can text in complete darkness or anytime without even looking at the keyboard. But then most keyboards no longer has letters or numbers due to lightning fast texting. Was shocked when a radio program mistakenly announced my number. Got hundreds of messages within 20 seconds! Of course I did not reply to anyone but spent the few days with hundreds of messages badgering me to text back. It was a harrowing experience for a 56 year old.
