David Tong 12-22-2006, 03:43 PM There's none JOHNDEEYU 12-22-2006, 03:46 PM Been using FL36 and waiting time is killing me, very frustrating. Too sad!:( :( David Tong 12-22-2006, 04:29 PM Hmm, just wondering pare, aren't the flash's batteries are at fault here and not your cam's battery if we're talking about recylicng times? I was using my friend's E-500 with FL36 for our company event a couple of weeks ago and recyling time was ultimately dictated by the batteries of the flash and not the cam's... I shot over 250 shots and the battery's cam was still over the halfway mark but I had to change the flash's batt twice during the shoot coz the FL36 wasn't recycling fast enough. Norman_P._Aquino 12-22-2006, 09:23 PM John, try using 2500 AA batteries. I heard recyling time using CRV3s is faster, but these are very expensive. As David said, recycling time is a function of flash batteries. Cheers, Norman Tok Paler 12-22-2006, 09:38 PM actually, some people don't recommend using CRV3s in your FL-36... it's something about the milliamps being low.. or it could be with the rechargeables only.. not sure... http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1022&message=16856855&changemode=1 fl-36 inherently has slow recycling time compared to the other flash (i.e. canon, nikon etc...) but you should get a decent recycling time with the 2500mAH batteries =) Norman_P._Aquino 12-22-2006, 09:43 PM actually, some people don't recommend using CRV3s in your FL-36... it's something about the milliamps being low.. or it could be with the rechargeables only.. not sure... http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1022&message=16856855&changemode=1 fl-36 inherently has slow recycling time compared to the other flash (i.e. canon, nikon etc...) but you should get a decent recycling time with the 2500mAH batteries =) Tok, I think the link you gave was discussing RCRV3s (rechargeable), not the same as nonrechargeable CRV3s. Regular CRV3s should work fine with the FL36/FL50. Cheers, Norman Tok Paler 12-22-2006, 09:46 PM so there's no problem using the non-rechargeable kinds? hmmm... i might give it a try =b Ryan Lucas 12-23-2006, 11:36 AM i'm using sony cycle energy for my fl-36 and it works well :) |
