Is there an idiot's guide for this? I only know of two techniques - desaturate and this complicated workflow [more than 3 steps kaya complicated na sa akin] that I got from a friend.

are quite common... I use Color Mixer most of the time.

I actually used alienskin exposure 1.0 black and white
I played with all the manual settings myself. All the preset curves were presented to me and I tweaked my favorite ones. Added or subtracted grain if necessary. Then some levels and curves on the converted image. No cropping. In the world of street photography... Cropping is for panzies

Actually, there is a line that starts outside the mall. I was briefed by one of the owners a couple days ago when I was at krispy kreme fort for breakfast.

I got a krispy kreme hat (baseball cap) for singing during the karaoke contest... only the first person in line gets the 1 year supply. My girlfriend won a 1 month supply :)

Hey din! :) Nice to hear from you again. Its 1 box of a dozen doughnuts a week for a whole year. (52 boxes X 12)/365 = 1.8 doughnuts a day :) Very unhealthy haha

frustrated from the opening @ the fort, (got there around 9:00PM already back then) having no freebies (except for the free-taste donuts and paper hats) i rushed to KKD megamall after my shift.. ;) when we got there around 8:40am, around 70+ people are lined up. :Shock: we were told by the manager that the first on the line started sitting outside since 3:00PM yesterday (where there's a tarp: KKD line starts here)..

i have no luck in the raffle (6, 3, or 1 month supply of donuts) but its OK.
atleast i have my KKD's and a cheaply printed KKD tshirt.. :Grin: you'll never know.. maybe this item will be priceless someday..

i saw some photogs there.. one with a 400d and another (like the official photog) with a 350d + batterygrip.. any chance you're part of this forum? hehehe.. ;)
