To all our Forum members, I am proud to announce the G-nie Arambulo has kindly accepted our offer to moderate the Advertising Forum. For those of you who don't know G-nie, she is an Award winning photographer who started her
career as an art director for a local agency. She then joined the legendary John Chua's Adphoto which could simply be the best studio in the country. G-nie is a versatile photographer with a wide portfolio that covers food, autos, architecture, fashion, travel, and lifestyle.

I guess i have to make an introduction of myself so that people may know me a little.
Actually, Photography has been my life for such a long time now, my specialty is .....- i don't have a specialty. I don't limit myself kasi to any one direction. Maybe that's why i'm in advertising. Maybe my specialty is varyety. At times i do personal work and from ther to other things. Right now,i'd say the large volume of my work is mostly food, talents and cars. I like building lights and atmosphere or mood to my subjects.
I hope and would like to share what i can to this forum
This will surely be interesting especially to those who are interested to get into
this field.
Just remember, i am not a technical person i just love to shoot.

At times Life in advertising recquires loooooong hours of work . I started shooting at 7:30a.m. for my first client shoot and ended at 3p.m with a client waiting for me for a 2p.m. shoot which at this time (12:58a.m) we are still on our last set up waiting for the creative director to come for final say. It's such a hectic day. All in all i guess I finished about 7 set ups of special effects and 3 set-ups of ballerinas this morning. Later, i have to think what equipment to bring for my next day shoot. I want to share this for you to know that life in advertising is no joke. Whether your tired or even sick you still have to deliver a good job - good images - for this clients to come back and remain trust in your work. You have no right to say - sorry, i'm late because.... sorry i'm tired...... NO EXCUSES... i should say. .... ...need to go back...

Hello G-nie! Honestly dito lang sa forum na ito kita nakilala ng mabuti. Pag work kasi work ka lang e! hahaha! nakakahiyang istorbohin. Anyway, the reason why i chose this forum is because pareho tayong nasa advertising the only difference is nakaalis ka na sa agency at mas maganda ang bagong career mo ngayon. Ako nasa agency pa rin at nagbabalak pa lang mag shift to photography. yeah i guess im following your footsteps. Im sure napagdaanan mo na ang dinadaanan ko ngayon, you know what i mean. Usap pa tayo! We have a lot to talk about.:) Good Luck!
