We announced this last DPP Christmas Party, but for those of you who missed it, Bella Luce will be launching the Lonely Planet Philippines Edition magazine towards the end of April.

Is it coincidence that DPP #31 is a Travel Issue? :)

Be on the lookout for this exciting new magazine from us. We believe that our magazine will set the standard for all travel magazines in the country. Naturally, because we probably have the best travel photographers within this DPP Forum!

This is just a sample of what the magazine will look like. Our cover will be different.

The answer is YES and that section will be called POSTCARDS. In fact, I will be setting up a thread soon for travel photo submissions for the Lonely Planet.

The POSTCARDS section is just like a Reader's Gallery section in DPP and that is non-paid. However, the travel photos that accompany the travel articles are paid.

We sent a DPP shooter "on assignment" for the first issue. You will love the pics taken by this photographer.

Just to let everyone know, The LONELY PLANET PHILIPPINES magazine will be launched tomorrow Wed/May 19 at the Ayala Museum. Those of you who submitted photos and were asked to turn in your files get an automatic invite to the launch. Your dress code is COCKTAIL.

We start distribution of the magazine beginning May 20 and it will take us about a week to get full distribution.

Guys it was an awesome event. Glad everyone had fun and enjoyed. We're going to have a tough time beating what we did last night, but let's see if we still have some tricks up our sleeve.

Before every issue of LP, I will make a post here in DPP and ask for travel submissions. You should submit photos that way to get published. I should have a gallery set up soon because we're already finalizing our second issue.
