Well well well. Travel photography (17) was my first issue of DPP magazine! Can't wait to get my hands on this one.

As usual we went through several covers but could not resist this one. The cover is an image by none other than Manny Librodo. Good call Aly Reyes.

please click on the SUBSCRIBE link instead, I believe for renewal, it's going to be like applying for a new subscription. And as Nick has mentioned in this issue and in another thread, Nins has gone from DPP to work elsewhere.

Thanks guys. This picture is one of the best travel pics I've taken last year. This was taken in Hanoi, Vietnam. I really love this pic and I had some second thoughts about letting DPP use it for the cover. But who can say NO to DPP? As a matter of fact, I volunteered this to Nick for the cover.

Don't know what's holding the public release but we were able to get a copy at Bella Luce office yesterday where we lodged our subscription so we don't have to go scouring around stores for the magazine availability.

The e-mail that I used to send the high-res file is yusuke_urameshiyuyuhakusho@yahoo.com (lol. sorry! been using this e-mail since grade school) so maybe they thought my name is Yusuke Urameshi (err..they asked for my real name naman eh and they've typed it on the description of the photo). I just got hold of a copy and I am impressed with the content. The photos you selected are worth viewing and learning about, as it indeed embodied what travel is all about.

Perhaps you can come up with a CULTURE or CROSSING BORDERS issue in the future. They may be related to travel but it would be cool to gather photos that capture the culture of various places we have visited as photographers.

Hello sir, i was wondering when the shot details of the front cover on the previous DPP issue #30 will be shared in the DPP magazine? I got the issue 31 about 2 weeks ago and i was looking for it. However it was not featured there. I remember when the cover of Issue 30 was unveiled, it was promised that the shot details will be revealed on the next issue. :)

I just noted that in the Canon 7D review, the magazine quoted the price of the Sony A700 as Php 83,217 (body only):Thinking:. I think it's way way lesser than that. Having bought mine only 6 months ago, it didn't reach 80K and it already had the premium kit lens.

Just in case those new to DPP are wondering, we are not a monthly magazine. We publish around a 45 day cycle, so that translates to 8 issues per year.

Its past the first week of May and yet no mag. At the printers already and its now a waiting game. Maybe another 10 days.

Got my first DPP Magazine (#31) courtesy of a co-Pipho forumer which I was able to get at a bargain this morning. Browsed through it quickly and I might want to subscribe to get the issues on a regular basis. Cheers to the people behind the mag, this ish (#31) is a winner.

I got this yesterday at Robinson's Galeria (Filbars). The issue was really great especially for newbies like me. :)

I'm glad Filbar's Festival Mall had a very helpful sales staff and found issue #31 amongst the stacks of back issues of various magazines!

I'm awed with all the articles, photographs, tips and everything else in this issue! Congratulations to Ms Pilar Tuason and her staff for a great travel issue. It was truly helpful for travel photography buffs like me. :)
