Our second issue of DPP. The magazine should be out around July 2 or 3. Subscribers will get their magazines first. We have expanded distribution and you will be able to find us in more outlets for the second issue. Expect to find DPP in major National Bookstores, PowerBooks, Fully Booked, and Bufini outlets.

If you thought the first issue was good, the second is even better.

We will PM you the bank details. Nick took the bank details out of the subscribe page since it was difficult to monitor the deposits due to the influx of subscribers coming in. We prefer cheque payment for now. If you still want to take that route, let me know.

Got issue number one in Gateway Fully Booked, great issue. Good printing and the matte finish cover looks great! Can't wait for the second issue, thanks for the advisory here.

Hmmm seems like a lotta hype for the second issue. I picked up my first issue over at Fully Booked in Greenhills. I can see why people are anticipating the magazine. Lotsa informative articles and great printing. I'll check with Fully Booked later this week again for issue 2.

its really disappointing. i've been scouting the bookstores but still havent seen this issue. sana next time mas maaga na. its already near the middle of the month pero july issue still has to hit the stores.

Some things are out of our control like the delay in printing. We received our magazine only on Saturday evening so the first thing we did was distribute to subscribers on Monday. Makati bookstores were distributed today. Wednesday goes to the Ortigas and North MM. Thursday Alabang. We can only do so much so thank you for your patience. :)

Thanks again to all our readers and members for your nice comments. I am very proud of our Readers' Gallery. The images here look like they were taken by serious professionals and yet most are just hobbyists who we communicate here daily on the magazine.

@Dindin- we got more in store for you. Top secret though. :Grin:
@Estan- we didn't factor in potential printer delay. So moving forward, we will complete our material a few days early to make sure that DPP mag always comes out within the first week of each month.
@Edlin- I hope you bought more than one copy. Your photo was in the Reader's Gallery so you should have picked up a few copies to make "mayabang" to your friends.:)

nick, finally got my copy at the Fully Booked store in Gateway. Really, I'm quite pleased with the issue. Am looking forward to reading Anton Sheker for his travel photography though.

I actually have to admit that I enjoy reading your magazine more than the imported ones from the US. Got my copy at Fully Booked Power Plant yesterday. Great articles. Compared to all the other magazines, it barely has advertisements. The articles, tips and reviews are very dense and highly informative; I feel like I don't need to buy photography books anymore because of this magazine. The layout and organization is great as well. Simply wow.

The magazine seems to be having more local content compared to the first issue, kudos to the staff for developing a balanced mix of foreign and local content.

I'm just glad that this magazine and the reader's gallery in it is highlighting the talent of Filipino photographers; I guess it's this magazine's and the community's own little way of showing the good side of this country.

A bit OT: Great article on stock photography, I visited istockphoto.com because of it and I'm in the process of signing up. Seems like a good way to take photographs since you have some sort of criteria to meet. IMHO, it's usually much easier to photograph something when you have criteria to follow than conjuring something up from yourself.

I got my copy at National Bookstore (Mall of Asia) and fortunately I was the first one who grabs it, because there was a guy who also ask for a copy of DPP from the sales lady.....:Grin:

OT: I wasn't able to get the 1st issue of the DPP... where can I get buy one ??:( is there a way that I could order one ??
