Earl Gonzalez 12-13-2006, 07:46 AM I was there but without a camera coming home from Makati... Aside from this causing much traffic; there were two broken 5 series BMWs which were also adding up to the pile...
Nice shots Neil! :)
Princess Jarlyn Young 12-13-2006, 07:46 AM what???? hmmm..
lenard_po 12-13-2006, 11:10 AM Cool shots.
I hear its because of faulty electrical wiring of the car and not a "bomb" as earlier reported
Tammy_David 12-13-2006, 11:15 AM Wow is that in Afghanistan? :p
hay I have a feeling it's a bomb
tsk tsk
IT'S CHRISTMAS, PEOPLE!!!
Francis Tuason 12-13-2006, 11:39 AM It's hard to believe that an almost new Toyota car can have electrical problems that can cause that. Not impossible, but im sure if it's an electrical problem, Cong. Jaworski can or will sue Toyota...
adamdomingo 12-13-2006, 11:54 AM i doubt that it's a mere faulty electrical wiring. according to the narration of cong. jaworski they initially saw smoke coming out from the vehicle which made his escorts go out of the vehicle. only after then did the car explode. well, i don't think that a faulty wiring would suddenly make a vehicle explode. an old sentra once exlpoded in front of our house but it caught fire first, traveling from the engine compartment towards the back. :) well at least its only an innova not unlike ung hummer h2 ni batangas gov na pinasabog din. :D
raul_echivarre 12-13-2006, 12:11 PM Wouldn't that be ironic :Dum:

Raffy Crucillo 12-13-2006, 01:20 PM Wow. Makes me wonder how safe are our cars. I know there are such things as quality control, but in the event that you're the unfortunate victim of one with a serious defect... I hate to be in that position.
David Tong 12-13-2006, 01:37 PM Actually sabi sa report ng police there were 2 gunshot holes sa Innova.

Raffy, I planted something under your CRV... :D hehehehehehehehehe...
neil.castano 12-13-2006, 06:54 PM i wonder why the cong. is using a toyota innova instead of a luxurios car like the expedition etc...also...why the car is properly position along the road? hmmm....
Tammy_David 12-13-2006, 11:27 PM I wonder if it has something to do with this...

much cheaper to blow up???:)
reggieguzman 12-14-2006, 12:12 AM ABS and GMA news are now saying that it is likely a bomb (small or low intensity), toyota also confirmed that if it was faulty wiring, the chassis wouldnt have any holes with the edges portruding outside (suggesting an explosion), parts of the bumper, tail/headlights also were also found near the innova. Investigators also say that if it was faulty wiring that caused the fire, there would not be any other part that can explode except the gas tank, ABS news showed the gas tank is still intact....
