The shutter speed dial and the aperture ring on the lens are what I'm used to so I found it a lot easier to use than other DSLRs, my current one included. I also like the clean, uncluttered design. It was surprisingly comfortable in my hands, too. I also like how it automatically zooms in during post-shot preview so you can check your focus. And the Leica D Vario-Elmarit 14-50/2.8-3.5, well it's the best kit lens that ever came out on a DSLR. I don't think Canon or Nikon can (or will) produce a kit lens of this caliber. The only thing I don't like about the L1 is the price. I just can't afford it now. Don't know about the E-330, haven't held one yet. :D ah yah, sorry, what i mean was you could use an external flash along with its pop-up flash. same with the e330, since it just takes over the same body as the e300 albeit a little smaller..sorry for the wrong info..
