Good day

I want to share what happened Last Nov 28, 2009 SATURDAY, I went to my regular printing shop DIGIPRINT Robinsons Pioneer. After my transaction 115 pcs of 4r and 11x14 Blow up picture received by Mr. Ale/Alc attendee of the said branch, I agree that the picture will be delivered on Monday since the 11x14 will took 2 days to deliver by their courier LBC
Hari ng PADALA. After waiting for 2 days, I received the pouches at around 1 pm Nov 30 2009, I immediately open the pouch to look for the pictures but then, I was surprised that the pouch only contain 11x14 picture and the 115 pcs of 4r are nowhere to be found, so I immediately called the branch and spoke with Ms. Tina Dakara, she said that she will call back in an hour to trace the said missing pictures, after the phone call I realize why it would took an hour to reply since the only problem is the missing 115pc. So I call back again to ask why this happen is there any Quality Control? Why didn’t double check the files before delivery? Etch etch. she explained anything I want to know instead of waiting for an hour I ask for the direct line of the main office to get the answer directly. I talked to Ms. Geraldine Dalina according to her, she don’t have any control regarding the said issue, and she said that I should call the branch, I get irritated coz their blaming each other,after a long conversation she will call me back again once she located the said missing pictures. I was very disappointed coz I really need those 4r before 2 pm.
While waiting for their call some thoughts came out to my mind, is this really the recommended printing shop by some members of digital photographer? It is not that hard to put the Photos in the right pouch.

Then Ms. Geraldine called and said that the 115pcs 4r pictures where left behind (WTF!!), I really need those photos, where is the so called “Quality Control”? What Happen with the good services they offer to their valued client especially us Hobbyist? After some long talks she said that the 4r will be delivered before 2:30 pm nov 30. As I post this message it is already past 3 o clock pm but I haven’t received the 115 pcs 4r pictures.

Am I the only one who experiences this service?

Im appealing to the management of Digiprint, kindly retrained your staff regarding Quality Control 101 is all about and their turn around time. I know for some,this is not a big deal but for me this is a big hassle especially you promised that it will be delivered on the said date.

Thanks for reading and hope this matter will be address and will never happen to some of your future customer and to my fellow hobbyist in photography.

im not criticizing the service that digiprint rendered but kindly take this as a way to improve the service to their valued customer.

there are other printing services out there..and its even "while you wait"..just have to look around..=)

mark <-- sorry to hear that. I think it's one of those isolated cases because digiprint maybe expanding/growing rapidly too much for proper trainings to catch up.

In 3 years that I've been printing with Digiprint, I haven't had a event. I'm also printing with Fans digital and I got a 1 day delay from them although I didn't let that event prevent me from sending print work to Fans. Digiprint may someday fail me although I'll still be loyal since majority of the service I got was great.

Hi guys sorry for the late update kinda busy since i delayed an hour catching up.

to all - Im not starting a fire or something just want to share my experience.

think of this as one of your customers feedback.

@ mr. manny what do you mean "watch your bp"? do you mean blood pressure? LOL i not angry im just disappointed coz i been using the service of digiprint for quite some time.

@ mr. lei -Maybe this is a rare case, but to hear the reason that the 115 pcs of photos were left out(naiwan -hindi na isama or napasok sa loob.) since it is clearly wrote down 11x14 and 115 pcs of 4r on the pouch, haven't they see it while they putting the stuff inside?but they said they have quality control,
I understand that they are expanding but it doesn't mean that they should sacrifice their quality. I could accept if their reason are they haven't print it or they send it on a different pouch. What if I haven't call or i haven't follow up? when could i get those 4r.

@ mr. mon mon- yup there are a lot of other printing services out there..and its even "while you wait". But I ve been using their service for quite some time and this is the first time i experience those since this is the first time i transact with them for two different photos set (the blow up and the 4r) i usually do those per batch.

any way i got the 115 pcs at around 3 30 it was delivered by the digiprint van thanks to Ms. Geraldine on assisting me and to my persistent call. They were apologetic regarding the issue and thank god it was delivered on the same date.

and like i said

My problem with DigiPrint is their promised delivery. They said 48 hours but normally I need to wait for 5 days to receive the prints. But anyway, they tried making "bawi". On my issue they gave 2 sets of pictures. I actually ordered 1 set only.

due to this and other "rumors" in other threads, 3 of us here in Cebu went with Picatoo yesterday....

i many have to agree with lei, mark. for sure the person incharge for the quality control have gotten the message by this time :)
