Hello fellow photogs,

Its really giving me a hardtime to achieve excellent focus during the wedding march of a bride or sponsors walking towards me.....How should I set a Camera auto focus or manual focus....what about the aperture, ISO and Shutter...any advise or tips how to do it the best way...

It would probably be hard to give suggestion without knowing the exact "scene". If you can post a sample image and your camera setting and lighting situation, we can give you some better guesses.

Sir I'm at work, wala mga photos dito sa bay...

what I mean is when you are taking photos of a walking bride, if you are with in the aisle and the bride is walking towards you...what is the best way to set focus, manual or auto, every step of will effect your focus, how should I do it

If you have a good grasp of Aperture, ISO and Shutter Speed, manual will always give you a better result. Remember, "auto" is more likely than not to be wrong.

Manual focus it. It's faster and more accurate.

Hi Joel. This has been a subject of one of my threads since this was my achilles heel before. There are a lot of good advises that our fellow fotogs gave me on that thread and I feel you will benefit from that too. Check out this thread (http://www.digitalphotographer.com.ph/forum/showthread.php?t=1355). I've since been getting almost 80-90% in-focus during bridal march.

hi, try setting your auto focus to ai servo. or pre focus the place where you want the entourage to be when you clicked the button :) hope this helps, cheers.
