Easily available in major newsstands all over the country. In Cebu, you'd find it in Ayala Cebu's National Bookstore as well as in SM Cebu. :Grin:

i like the atmospheric quality of this shot. i'm glad it made the cover. and the photographer provided ample space for the headline and other contents :Grin: . i also like the shot titled 'pearl drive' but it's in b&w like the november cover.

i thought of submitting something similar for the cover....but did not find a suitable venue for my idea here in manila. too bad. the city planners (if there were any here) just didnt think of photographers when they built this city, hehehe....

This forum complements DPP mag and without the mag the forum wouldn't be here. So we hope you and others keep DPP alive by supporting the magazine at the newsstands.

You won't find this issue because it has not yet been released. Also, we don't sell to NBS in San Lazaro nor Rizal Ave. Done it before but decided to concentrate distribution to NBS stores that can turn larger volumes.

Although it was suggested by Cleng at FPPF that I should just subscribe and save money by doing so, I prefer the excitement of anticipating each release and actually going to the newstand to get a copy.

I actually have a larger version of that scene (520 megapixel- 35"x165" stitched photo) where you can clearly see an airplane flying and read all the text on the Megamall billboard but the clouds is not that interesting. Tried printing but will cost me P6,500 just for the print alone so i just shelved it.

you know mitz, your photo looks infinitely striking on print than on the web. its just flat-out gorgeous and well-executed.

48 shots (16X3 @10.3mp per frame). Interpolated a bit using Spline36 to get the final size.

Got mine this afternoon... :)

I just got the latest issue of the mag. I just have to say that this magazine has really helped me out with photo editing. The tutorials and articles on photoshop are really helpful to me. I've even marked several notes on all my issues - just like in school. I am a sports photographer. At first, I only made use of Photoshop for simple borders and labellings. But, after reading the articles on the magazine, I got to apply some level and curve adjustments and I can see that it really boosted the photos.

Yep. I used to live in a Chicago suburb. That's the gothic Chicago Tribune building, if I remember right. It would have been great to take this shot at night with Batman hanging like a gargoyle. :D
