Cant seem to connect whenever im using my Sun BW modem.
Right now im using the office net connection with my big laptop, but my netbook on the same desk right now using SUN BW cant connect on all 4 browsers. Chrome,safari,firefox,IE7.
I just find it weird.

there was a previous thread where changing DNS settings was discussed. I am using globe, couldnt connect to DPP before, after having this setting changed, no problems connecting to DPP.

i'm using sun at home, now i'm surfing via proxy [firewalled] in the office. i want to know how i can connect to dpp because i need to use a proxy at home. what's DNS and how and what kind of change should I make?:)

it's a DNS problem with Sun and Digitel network... you can use kproxy in that case...

I have the same problem Tantin. I've configure my Mac to dial the modem on it's own and use the OPENDNS settings as default. I don't use the dialer that it comes with.

I use my sun for browsing the web since it is postpaid... P700.00/month
I only use my smart for DPP P20.00/hour :(

DNS, DNS, DNS... it's quite erratic... most of the time my Digitel / Sun connection can connect to DPP. It's Globe that can't connect that often (but it can today).

Or use a web-based anonymous proxy server... like proxify.com
