Wifey and I attended a wedding a couple of months ago and guests were selectively handed a point and shoot camera to, I guess, shoot ourselves and then hand the camera back to the bride and groom at the end of the night. I was surprised that some of my candids made the wedding album. Here are my very first wedding photos...

another proof of this worn-out adage "its not with the bow/arrow but with the indian itself"

Nick, let's do weddings together in New York. Let's start out at $10,000 a pop, I'll be your Tonto and I'll fly in for the weekend everytime there's a shoot! I'll bring lots of bows and arrows and we can shoot 'em white people (photographically speaking, that is). :D

Sounds tempting, being the jetsetting wedding photog. But I like watching cartoons on Saturdays and football on Sundays. :D

Man, I'm such a lazy bum.

I just accepted my very first wedding assignment. This will probably be my last too (just wanted to see what it's like). It will be in Montreal, Canada in July.

Geez, I hope I don't screw up.

Goodluck Nick! If it's only in NJ or somewhere around here, I can give you a hand....for carrying your stuff. :) I would like to see a professional in action. :)

Nice shots, nick. May I ask what is the brand and model of point and shoot did you used? This one's got the function of an DSLR or an SLR. Selective focusing and looks like with a lens thats around 200mm in full wide aperture like in picture 3 and 4. And this great point and shoot has even a 28mm (probably) lens! Do you remember the model and brand of the camera? Would like to purchase one of those.

Thank and congratulations! Keep on shooting!
