Last summer, my yearly vacation buddies and I went to Batangas. Like summers of years past, we proceeded during the Holy Week, made no reservations at all, and hoped that Batangas would satisfy our annual craving for some well-deserved R&R.

The hospitable resort (not to mention its beautiful surroundings) that accomodated us was so clean and beautiful that I recommended it to another set of friends.

Within two weeks (this time with a reservation), I was back for some more.
