090909, met up with fellow DPP members - Rey Baptista, Neilo Bandelaria, TJ Torrano and Lois Buno. we came up with Southern Reflections, hopefully the start of great fun, sharing, learning, and good friends :)

so, to kick off everything, we will have a model shoot on Sept 27, 100pm, Ayala Westgrove. details of where to meet, etc will follow soon. we will first set the number of participants to 12 to have enough time for everyone, and as this will be a learning, sharing experience, do join us if you can :)

model(s) are handled by Neilo, MUA is handled by Rey. we will split the bill for the MUA and the food.

somebody told us that there had a bad accident. the traffic was so bad that our officiating priest coming from silang, cavite could not get past AUP due to heavy traffic that lasted for hours - the mass had to be cancelled!

im glad to see that some of you made it through before the bottleneck hit. more power to SOUTHERN REFLECTIONS!

all travel together, and those with no rides can hitch with those who have. also, take note that we will share the MUA fees, but that should be about Php1200 only for 2 models, so we split that later on. of course, if we will order food as snacks, lets have something delivered. Neilo will take care of picking up the models (thanks pre!)

the best part is that we will all have fun!

OT- I was in paseo yesterday to get a greenfield sticker and had some japanese food with the family, saw a nice plaza there, beside the marks and spencers outlet, and also found out that the market had moved. Lots of changes happening...

lets postpone the EB/shoot tomorrow to a later date. this weather will most probably continue to be like this even tomorrow. so to be on the safe side of everything with regards to our schedule, lets push it off for now.

yes, Marks & Spencer just opened in the new wing of Paseo. i didn't hear about the open house tomorrow in Sports Center, but if the weather continues on like this, i suspect they'll re-schedule that as well for the very high chance of low turnout. besides, the 2 sides of the area that they use (underneath the tennis courts) are open - as such, wind gusts with rain will surely ruin the event.

yup, theres a nice park in that area, though Paseo is strict with regards to people with DSLRs. the guards ask you immediately. i think the market moved early part of the year if im not mistaken. do let me and Rey know if youre in the area again, maybe we can shoot :)

since Neilo and yours truly will pick up the models starting at 11am, we will have to grab a quick lunch so i suggest that you also take lunch before going to Westgrove. lets just discuss about snacks there. other costs incurred, we will share during the shoot.

expected start is at 1pm-115pm, while the models are being prepared, we will do some brief intro, some ground rules, and other stuff re our shoot and the group in general.

finally, as Rey mentioned, bring props that you would want to use.

unfortunately due to the ever changing sched and uncertainty of the weather, our MUA had previously sched a convention she had planned on attending (weeks ago) - tomorrow! but she'll confirm with me a little later if she could juggle her sched for our shoot.

no she couldn't make it. but for sure, shoot is going through as planned. if push comes to shove, models will put on their makeup/foundation. but im still trying to get a replacement to make it less burdensome for us all.
