kentamayo 12-05-2006, 08:40 AM The Red thingy has now been transformed in to the "Red Triangle", IMHO I've always wondered why Nikon used a red "thingy" instead of yellow... I guess it's more attractive that way. When i stuck some red pinstriping on my Sigma 70-200 it actually matched more than the gold pinstriping! hehehe... :D

I used red pinstriping stickers that can be bought at car accessory shops. but it usually comes as a pair of stripes one thin stripe and one thick one. I used the thick one to cover the gold stripe on the lens. HTH :D
