Just got mine this morning from Singapore. I had to order the retail version so that we can post the review for iCreate. I'll be posting performance details soon:

CS3 won't run properly. Only CS4 works. It's been announced by Adobe two weeks ago.

Chris, Adobe has not been known to do development to support older products. The focus all development on current and future technologies.

I believe thay won't update CS3 for Leopard.

Thank you for your quick reply sir randy, I guess I'll stick to 10.5.7 for now.

CS3 users are stuck with Leopard. The upcoming CS5 will take advantage of the 64 bit platform.

My SL arrived yesterday but havent installed it yet coz I'm using a licensed version of the CS3. I'll be sticking to my old cat for the meantime until Adobe fixes the problems encountered with the new SL.

Is there any group out there petitioning Adobe for support in relation to CS3?

I don't think Adobe will support it anymore as per their official statement from Jack Nack. Most problems of CS4 is only related to Adobe Air and web design programs (at least that we saw).

Adobe CS3 users wanting to upgrade to Snow Leopard may want to read this first:
Information about Photoshop CS3 on Snow Leopard (http://blogs.adobe.com/jnack/2009/08/pscs3_on_snowleopard.html)

Hi Sir Jovit, I have installed the Snow Leopard on my macbook pro. licensed CS3 is
working fine, maybe because I'm only using the basic tools for photo editing
The only incompatible application I received during installation is the SRS plugin for iTunes. Here's what I have noticed on my mac with Snow Leopard:

1.) save at least 6.5 GB of hard disk space after installation.
2.) my LCD screen is more vivid than before. (don't know why)
3.) open my applications quick (CS3, Capture NX2, Safari)

Hi guys! this is a nice thread for me as well ( a newbie in OS X ), thanks Sir Nino for starting the thread, i can follow now on what to DO's and DONT's..

I am currently using CS2 on OS X and just install a Parallel for Windows if I want to used my CS4:) but for now I am quite happy with CS2. My only problem is why I cant transfer my pictures using EOS 50 Software (EOS Utility), there is always an error:(

I just upgraded the Firmware and the Software both camera and the EOS disk but no joy..

Any idea gurus? many thanks in advance..

Nice that such a thread exists here. I'm a mac newbie and using SL, so far so good! Way better in every aspect (at least for me) vs. my Vista Ultimate PC.

BTW, im using CS4 and I didn't run into any problems so far.. I should be trying to install the EOS utility soon and see if I'll get the same error. Nino how's the performance based on your review?
