Nice :) For macro and closeups, Vivitar, two years ago, came up with a similar gadget that can be magnetically attached to your camera lens (it's for Mobile phones but I had it rigged on my P&S camera) . Nowadays, I've seen a number of these similar gadgets that can also do wide angle and fish eye as well :)

I did almost the same thing with my old k800 and an old pair of reading glasses. (:
