Photo Contest: Christmas at Trece Martires
Subjects : People, Places & Events
Date : December 1, 2006 from 3:00 PM onwards
Venue : Trece Martires, Cavite Registration
Fee : Registration fee is Php250.00
inclusive of the following: - 1roll of film - Transportation fare - Food Assembly time : Between 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM Departure time : 1:00 PM Place of Assembly: At the grounds of Comfoods Building, Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City
Mechanics:
1. This contest is open to all amateur and professional photographers.
2. Photographic medium to be used can be digital or film 2.1 Additional films are available at FPPF
3. Pre-registration is necessary to determine number of participants for transportation arrangement.

4. Entries
4.1 8R or 8 x 10 inches
4.2 Color prints
4.3 Prints on photo paper, inkjet printouts are not allowed.
4.4 Borders are optional, not to exceed one inch in each side.
4.5 Submit prints with the corresponding data sheet attached at the back of each entry. Fullname Address Contact numbers Club (if any) Email address Date.
4.6 Film or digital camera output on photo paper
4.7 The name or face of the participant should not appear on the entry
5. Participants may submit unlimited entries, taken only on December 1, 2006
6. Deadline of submission is on December 15, 2006 at FPPF New office
7. Alterations after exposure–digital darkroom, painting, airbrushing, paste-on or assembly–are not allowed. For digital enhancements such as Layering, masking, and adding or deducting an element in your photo is also unacceptable. Only normal darkroom techniques such as dodging, burning in and cropping are allowed. Any creative effects must be done in-camera at the time of exposure, such as multiple exposure, flash fill, light painting, filtration, etc.
8. The decision of the board of judges will be final.
9. Awarding of winners, to be announced at a later date
Winning Entries
1. Top 10 winners are required to submit the respective medium used: Film negative for film cameras; RAW file for digital cameras for autentication/validation purposes. Failure to submit are automatically disqualified.
2. Top 30 prints shall become the property of the organizers with full right to reproduce, exhibit or publish for promotional purposes. The Organizers may without paying financial compensation to the photographers display prints in a public place or publish the prints for the purpose of promoting the organizers’ events or any by-product event arising from the photo contest. Copyright will still remain with the photographer.
3 Non-winning entries may be retrieved from the FPPF (Manila) starting December 20, 2006 Prizes -
First Prize = Php15,000 cash -
Second Prize = Php10,000 cash -
Third Prize = Php 5,000 cash Organized by -The City Government of Trece, Martires and the FPPF
