Whew! Whatta day and it aint over yet! Almost 24 hrs on the road and we finally made our 1st Hotel Stop! Still reeling from a round of bagnet, vigan longga and pinakbet (the orginal recipe with overflowing mantika!), we are now settling in our respective rooms at Vigan Plaza Hotel. Quick shower and off to Calle Crisologo.

Im sure the team is itching (no pun intended to the band that we are with) to post... but need to run off and do the night shots... 2 hours to go before they pull the plug at Calle Crisologo :)

Watching the road was like watching a suspense movie (for me). Team Meister kept on asking me how far was the Grotto, where we were to make our sunset photos. Thanks to ramoing internet access and Google Earth, I kept of replying.

Thanks to CROCS (with its patented nanoporous, antibacterial churva), we were never in fear of getting our feet wet or slipping through the mossy stones. Very comfy for EBs and OAs.

Weather in Vigan was fantastic but 30 mins after we left... it was raining and the group's spirit was a bit dampened since we were hoping to have a sunset shot somewhere in Ilocos Norte... until Team Leader Derick G blurted out..

These kids were really fantastic, we went there to shoot the loom weaving but ended up spending more time shooting this one particular kid. As Mr. G said, being deaf and mute, the kid learned how to communicate with her eyes, hence such amazing photos... Can't wait to see the A side processed pictures Kha!
