Hi Guys,

Starting 12:00PM of July 22, we will now be accepting entries for the upcoming DPP issue. As stated in the title of this thread, we are looking for SELF PORTRAITS.

1. As always, show us something different and interesting. We'll put you in the magazine. We want to put a face on our DPP members so submit pretty good ones.
2. No snapshots with you and your camera or your camera covering your face.
3. If we contact you because we want to see your image, you will have three days to give us your file. It also doesn't mean you are automatically in the mag because of file quality issues or space restrictions.
4. Deadline for posting your image in the gallery is July 29.

This is your opportunity Jason M! Im sure you have a lot in your digital darkroom :)

I got picture of me with a scenic background and I used a tripod. is it allowed to just cropped the photo to fit in my face and do some edits. is there a photo size requirement? thanks!

Like I said, it has to be creative and most of all PRINTABLE. It might be wise to reserve the scenic background for a future landscape issue.

I have a question though, should I send the original file? Coz' I sent the post-processed (and smaller version) of that photo.

And you'll be lucky if at least 1 of those three photos is good..most of mine are`either out of focus or badly framed...because most my friends do not know how to work a dslr!:(

what if a user has just signed up and submitted a GREAT photo of a relatively unknown bollywood actress. (the submitter has RAW file let's say) then that photo gets printed in Issue 28

hahaha. I wasn't able to sleep last night so at around 12-1AM I set up my gears and took some shots. Feels weird to be posing/ smiling/ frowning when you're all alone, haha. it helped though that everyone else was asleep, (walang istorbo sa pag emote), hehehe.
