Hey again, Folks!
Is there a way to boost the continuous fps rate of the s5pro, much like using en-el4e on d300's? Advise is much, much appreciated. TIA! :)

none whatsoever.. and even if you do, it has slow write speed and the buffer fills up fast.

There's no way to do that. It's the physical limitation of the processing unit. Just like my old 10D, using a fast CF card only improves how fast the card writes, but the buffer, transfer speed, and the shutter mechanism's FPS is limited and there's nothing you can do about it.

Shoot JPG only and keep the Dynamic Range setting to 100%, you can get more fps.
Shooting RAW with the S5 Pro is soooo slow.

But it's not increasing the camera's rated fps though, just reaching its rated top fps.

You're correct David. Its just that the OP didnt specify his settings or number of fps. I just assumed that he (and like a lot of S5 owners) was shooting with the highest DR setting (which is almost always the case because its the S5's main feature) and complains that its slow.
There are specific settings (ISO, aperture, etc.) that can make the S5 a wee bit faster. Its in the manual actually.
