A very fun (and wet) festival. Definetely a lot of pressure to capture the image and avoid some of the rowdy merrymakers throwing water everywhere.
I hope you like 'em as much as I did taking them ;)

This is my first try at taking photos of a festival --- Angono Higantes Festival.
The thing to remember about this event is that :
1) water is thrown to the anyone they see in the streets (not a good idea for photographers with plenty of gadgets all over their body)
2) it is a Mardigras' type of festivity, the participants wear outrageous costumes
I saw too many images and had too much fun.
Not a bad first fiesta photo opportunity!

desaturated only the blue and red of the people's clothes... but for the two main subjects, those were their real colors...

dave_deluria 11-29-2006, 07:31 PM There's Adobo, Alimasag, Hito, Pusit, Adobong Kangkong, Itlog na Maalat and some garnish in a caldero of rice good for 7-8 people. Cost us only P990 per caldero.
