Just want to know your opinion, im an aspiring photography enthusiast and im a bit bothered whether to use photoshop into my captured images or not. Im working in an advertising agency and we really rely heavily and the capacity of the program to produce satisfying prints.

I've also noticed that even pro photographers also use this program for their images in posts in the internet or in pre productions. So is it ok or not?

Tnx!:)

btw, here are some of my images: http://www.flickr.com/photos/38029654@N02/

Since your working in an advertising agency it will depends who will approve your final outputs even you think you dont need to enchance your work via PS, if your manager want something more out of your work, its either you shoot it again or do it via PS.

Also some photographers can do it without PS, depends on how you work. We have different description/taste of whats good and whats not, if you ask me for the 2 nikkor lenses photos you could do better than that. If im your client i wont settle for an ordinary shots, make me say "WOW" through your presentation photos and its done deal.

Just a thought.

since you're an aspiring photography enthusiast, i think you should first concentrate on your photography, i.e, getting good exposures, composition etc. getting a good image should be the primary objective and still after all your efforts, it is still up to you wheteher to photoshop or not. and in case you decide to post process, my idea of a post processed image is that it should not look like it was post processed.
but if you're using your shots for advertising, it is a completely different ballgame.
this is only my opinion.

Is there a thing such as a "palabra de honor" for photographers to say and to be proud to claim that their images are authentic capture and not a digitally enhance image in photoshop?
