There are Wedding Photographer groups and Organizations, are there any for Photographers whose primary subject are children and kiddie events / parties?

None to my knowledge. Unless major players like Picture This, Picture Company and the others band together to form one. :D

I have a couple of 'friends' on Flickr who specialize in kids photography and i'm interested in developing this skill.
I guess I have to start with my own nieces and nephews.
