Guys, me and my friends are planning a trip to Ilocos region this weekend and I want to ask you tips on what to shoot in Vigan and Laoag. Should we have themes or photo challenges to aid us?

Also include the Ilocano folks in theri daily grind. Capture moments when they are at work, at play, while having fun with their families. They are an interesting lot. I had a great time when we visited Ilocandia during holy week. Have much respect for the hardworking Ilocano.... enjoy.....:) Romyr_Mariano 05-31-2009, 11:44 AM wow!thanks alot for these very helpful tips, our trip will surely be alot easier. btw, what lens will be most useful for this trip? tembanaria 05-31-2009, 11:54 AM wow!thanks alot for these very helpful tips, our trip will surely be alot easier. btw, what lens will be most useful for this trip? If you have wides, bring them along. It will come in handy when shooting landscapes and structures. Wide to medium zooms will be ok. Too many lenses are a pain to carry when you move around. All I needed was my ultra wide 12-24 and my trusty 18=135. :) Romyr_Mariano 05-31-2009, 12:01 PM If you have wides, bring them along. It will come in handy when shooting landscapes and structures.
