I’ve seen a Leica D-Lux 4 Titanium Limited Edition at InfoMaxx Park Square.
They are selling it for 60,000 pesos

I hope its output always has a red dot watermark :D

and that's only a titanium finish. Not even made from pure titanium. :D

I saw an M8 with a lens for sale at a watch store in Glorietta. Can't remember the name, but it's across Goldilocks, and it's on the same wing as National Bookstore.

Was at Megamall just yesterday, and Infomaxx still has the DLux 4, for around ~ PhP 47K.

leica D-Lux4 shares exactly the same lens as lumix LX3, while it's successor D-Lux5 is the same as LX5 :)

anyways, going back to the topic... doesn't those camera shops in quiapo sell leicas?

Are you suggesting that instead of getting the pricier D-Luxes, the Lumixes will do? I'm thinking of getting one, but I don't know if I'm better off with a Leica than a Panasonic (with Leica lens).

not exactly, but if you're more concerned with the output, i suggest you try checking out their respective sample shots first if you are really serious getting one... with a leica, you're not just buying the camera, you're buying the name as well
