The 21" model took up a lot of space on my table. But I would gladly make space for it on my table if I could afford it :D Cheers! Cheers! Jo Avila Sir Jo,, im planning to buy a Tablet as i love editing photos so much with my Photoshop CS3. i was in Octagon yesterday and saw this GENIUS TABLET and BAMBOO by wacom.. its only 4" by 6"... its a bit expensive as to its size.. its like 5K.. the Genius is only 2,600.. now my question is.. what would you recommend for a tablet if you are using CS3? is there such a specific brand that has a specification that would best fit for CS3? thanks,... Ronald Suello 07-02-2009, 09:34 AM P155,000??? wow, that's one serious cookie. ricky.sarabosing 07-02-2009, 03:21 PM i was in Octagon yesterday and saw this GENIUS TABLET and BAMBOO by wacom.. its only 4" by 6"... its a bit expensive as to its size.. its like 5K.. the Genius is only 2,600.. now my question is.. what would you recommend for a tablet if you are using CS3? is there such a specific brand that has a specification that would best fit for CS3? thanks,... Sir, wacom tablets will work both mac & windows. about software compatibility there's a lot of editing softwares you can use. in my cintiq 12wx i used it for 3d drawing, motion graphics, graphics design & photo editing. you can even play games if you want to but its not for gaming purposes anyway. photoshop cs3 is not a problem with wacom tablet. im using ps cs4. all of those wacom tablet will work with photoshop even the older version. about choosing the wacom tablet it depends on your budget, mostly of the professionals that I'm working with they are using the intous & cintiq models. ismael Alipuddin 07-03-2009, 04:01 AM Sir, wacom tablets will work both mac & windows. about software compatibility there's a lot of editing softwares you can use. in my cintiq 12wx i used it for 3d drawing, motion graphics, graphics design & photo editing. you can even play games if you want to but its not for gaming purposes anyway. photoshop cs3 is not a problem with wacom tablet. im using ps cs4. all of those wacom tablet will work with photoshop even the older version. about choosing the wacom tablet it depends on your budget, mostly of the professionals that I'm working with they are using the intous & cintiq models. thanks Ricky,,im currently looking at Wacom products while im reading ur response... i think i would go with Wacom.... ehhehehe..... Jo Avila 07-03-2009, 07:13 PM @ Ismael Sorry for the delayed response. I didn't access to the net yesterday. My suggestion would be to get the Bamboo. I now own about five different Wacom tablets (I think it will soon be six :D). The workhorse tablet that I use in the studio is an Intuos 3. I have a Wacom Graphire series that my kids and I use at home. I keep a Wacom Bamboo Fun in my laptop as my portable tablet. It works great. I have no complaints when I use it to do on location edits during shoots in front of clients or when I conduct post processing and color management lectures outside of my studio. Cheers! Jo Avila P.S. My oldest tablet I started using with PS 5.5 It finally conked out due to wear, tear, abuse, constant transport, dropping, etc. by the time I was using PS CS1 :D ismael Alipuddin 07-04-2009, 01:20 AM @ Ismael Sorry for the delayed response.
