I want to make an announcement that DPP will be celebrating its Third Year Anniversary with a full day celebration on Sat/June 27 at Fully Booked Boni High Street. The full day event will start when the store opens and continue until the store closes.

We are working out all the little details at the moment and I will post a complete list of events/activities over the next few days in this thread. At the moment, here is what to expect:

1. DPP Anniversary open to all DPP members. We will be releasing a new issue of DPP on that same day and entry to the event will require purchase of the latest issue. Subscribers need not purchase.

2. Workshops and lectures will be on-going for the entire day. Fully Booked has four or five function rooms that we will be occupying and we will be using those to give lectures in almost every facet of digital photography. The list of lecturers will be posted shortly but only expect the best since its a DPP event. Just expect four or five classes running simultaneously for the entire day. The photographer will have to choose what class they want to attend.

3. Photo Contest will be created and entries will be printed and displayed in Fully Booked for several days. Don't expect multimillion peso prizes for the photo contest. The winner gets bragging rights and often times that is the best prize. We will encourage everyone to join. We're going to do something different here that will be worth participating and attending. I will be announcing contest details soon.

4. Cocktails and Party will follow in the evening at the top floor of Fully Booked. We will have an open bar and some food. Expect food to run out but I'll make sure that the booze keeps on flowing until Fully Booked closes on Saturday night, which I think is at midnight.

5. We have some other ideas cooking up in our heads and we'll post those as we finalize.

Please read this update if you want to know what is going on. We have inserted event passes in every issue of DPP #26. We will not be releasing a new issue on June 27 because it would be unfair for most people. So if you want to go to the event, you will need to purchase Issue 26. It is one pass per participant so that means if you want to take a friend, you'll need another pass and hence a second magazine.

We have nearly finalized all the workshops and also the entertainment. i will be posting updates on this thread as the date draws nearer so please monitor this closely so you don't miss out on anything.

Some updates. We had our pre-prod meeting with Fully Booked today and it's all systems go. There are three lecture rooms in Fully Booked and we will be occupying all of them. For those of you who haven't seen the entire Fully Booked these rooms are quite awesome.

The fourth floor will be our computer room where Intel will set up workstations. We will be using this venue for all our digital post processing classes.

The fifth floor is quite large and we will reserve this area possibly for live shoots and lecture. The evening party will be held here also.

The basement has a fifty seat movie theater. This room will be set up for lectures with slide show presentations. Quite impressive and a guarantee to be wicked photography experience.

We have been talking to our lecturers and I will soon post the list of speakers and topics to be discussed. Remember that entrance is one DPP Magazine per customer so if you plan to bring someone else, that means you will have to buy a separate magazine. Once you purchase a copy at Fully Booked High Street you will be given an entrance pass to all the class and party in the evening.

Trust me when I say this is an event that should not be missed. Mark it down in your calendar boys and girls.

Hi, do subscribers need to bring a copy of the mag to enter?

I want to make an announcement that DPP will be celebrating its Third Year Anniversary with a full day celebration on Sat/June 27 at Fully Booked Boni High Street. The full day event will start when the store opens and continue until the store closes.

We are working out all the little details at the moment and I will post a complete list of events/activities over the next few days in this thread. At the moment, here is what to expect:

1. DPP Anniversary open to all DPP members. We will be releasing a new issue of DPP on that same day and entry to the event will require purchase of the latest issue. Subscribers need not purchase.

2. Workshops and lectures will be on-going for the entire day. Fully Booked has four or five function rooms that we will be occupying and we will be using those to give lectures in almost every facet of digital photography. The list of lecturers will be posted shortly but only expect the best since its a DPP event. Just expect four or five classes running simultaneously for the entire day. The photographer will have to choose what class they want to attend.

3. Photo Contest will be created and entries will be printed and displayed in Fully Booked for several days. Don't expect multimillion peso prizes for the photo contest. The winner gets bragging rights and often times that is the best prize. We will encourage everyone to join. We're going to do something different here that will be worth participating and attending. I will be announcing contest details soon.

4. Cocktails and Party will follow in the evening at the top floor of Fully Booked. We will have an open bar and some food. Expect food to run out but I'll make sure that the booze keeps on flowing until Fully Booked closes on Saturday night, which I think is at midnight.

5. We have some other ideas cooking up in our heads and we'll post those as we finalize.

I can relate to that kind of music Nick...all my LPs are still in good working condition and still listening to them once in a while :)

The best way is to take the MRT and go down Ayala Station. From there, a bus is available... this bus goes to The Fort... you cant miss it, its the Global City Bus... :) Once you're inside The Fort, youll see the buildings with labels B1, B2, B3, and so on and so forth. That's it...Bonifacio High Street :) Fully Booked is the highest building there... :)

Judy of Columbia (Megamall) had the voucher (I just happened to show it to her) and volunteered to have it submitted (I don't know how, I don't know when). I was wondering if I'd be able to get the 26th issue thru the voucher. The name on the voucher is Mrs. Evangeline T. Ordaz.

Trust me when I say this is an event that should not be missed. Mark it down in your calendar boys and girls.

I'm very confident on this one since I attend last year celebration!

The latest issue which is Issue 27 will be going out 2 days before the event and we can only get our copy from Fully Booked High Street in order to get our entrance pass.

This event is open for everyone. You will need an event pass and those can be found inside every issue of DPP Issue 26 which is being released this week to the magazine stands. Its one pass per entry so if a friend wants to attend, you'll have to pick up another DPP copy.:D

It is one pass per participant so that means if you want to take a friend, you'll need another pass and hence a second magazine.

We have nearly finalized all the workshops and also the entertainment. i will be posting updates on this thread as the date draws nearer so please monitor this closely so you don't miss out on anything.

Issue 26 is already out in the market (some mag stands). I think delivery is on goin' as well. June 27 is 2 weeks from now, are there cases that subscribers didn't receive their mags in 2 weeks time upon its release date? TIA

I believe, it's a privilege that subscriber's names are known by DPP, hence we could just have ourselves identified by the staff (of course complete with proper identification). I wouldn't worry too much though :)

As advised to you guys earlier, DPP has the names of all the subscribers. If you can present a valid ID, then you are IN.

I have seen DPP magazines in Fully Booked in Greenbelt and Fully Booked at Bonifacio High Street.
