Upgrading Aperture 1.0 to 1.5.1 question
Hi list,
I was thinking of getting Apple's aperture. Ynzal is offering the V.1.0 at a not too expensive price. (Hope they still have a "on-sale" copy of the 1.0) The V1.5 is roughly Php 10K more.
From the aperture website, I read this:
Aperture 1.5.1
Customers using any previous licensed version of Aperture can download and install Aperture 1.5.1, a free update.
Recommended for all licensed Aperture customers, Aperture 1.5.1 improves overall reliability and performance in many areas of the application, including keywords, the Loupe, cropping, previews, metadata presets, file renaming, iPhoto library import, and watermarks.
Important Note: The Aperture 1.5.1 Update cannot be used to update the Aperture Trial.
So now for the question: Does the clause mean that I can buy the V 1.0 and download and install the free v 1.5.1 update from the website and I'd then be running V 1.5.1? And save myself 10K?
Thanks for the help.
