I would like to join you guys for the eb in makati but have work on those days so it's kinda hard for me to go to the eb. post pix nalang and info on how things go.

When I attend Mac Meets, it's easy to figure out what to bring... my iBook, of course. But for a Photo Meet, it can be confusing?

What do you think, guys?

1. Custom Curves - expalin the benefits of Custom Curves and load them on the cams of those who want to try them out (I can bring my laptop for this)
2. Show and Tell - bring gear that you'd like to recommend to the others or have them try out
3. Sensor Cleaning - using the Visible Dust Sensor Brush
4. Kwentuhan lang
5. Have a few beers

@manny, I don't think the SensorBrush is available locally. I ordered almost 2 years ago from the Visible Dust website. It was around $80 if I remember correctly.

i have a scheduled trip over from the 6th to the 11th for a wedding and some meetings. this is in july.

i plan to get some gear on the 7th or 8th at island photo and maybe the mbd200 pack (wishing since i already over extended with the macbook. he he)

any happenings around the 9th?

it's a sigma 18-200 f/3.5-5.6 :Shock:

Maybe it was shot with the aperture wide open, so there's a chance for softness at the edge since it was a wide shot?
Check out what I actually use the Tamron 200-500 (http://www.photo.net.ph/thumbnails.php?album=2535) for. :)

Rosalie, it was sure interesting. The biggest downside is that you have to contend with the sight and smells of Manila's refuse. It wasn't that bad actually. I need to practice more to increase my rate of keepers!

spot on... checked on other shots using the same lens (don't have any choice in fact atm.. haha) @ 18mm but stepped down to f/4 and up didn't exhibit it

nope. in fact, I was using my D70. The guards were just looking at me but no attempt whatsoever to stop me from shooting. I was able to do this more than twice na in MoA. :D

Randy is right, SM Mall of Asia is one of my client we can shoot as long as your camera does not look like a videocam thats allright I have already ask the SM executives, Im just not sure if they will allow 20 to 30 good looking photographers with all the great nikon gears all at the same time we might need a permit na siguro but i think that will not be a problem. I even check this with the guards just to be sure, and right the guard answered "no sir it is not prohibited to take pictures bawal lang po ang video cam."
