Its been 3 weeks now and I cant still log in to DPP, Im using GLOBE my DSL. I already inform theme about the problem, they are trying to fix it but in the end they told me that the problem is with the Web site it self.

It is really with the web site or with my Internet??

I don't think the problem is with my computer, there are 3 computers in the house and all of theme cant access DPP.

currently I'm in the office with my lap top and everything's working fine..

Is there anyone here has the same problem with me??

Thanks.

i'm having the same problem before. globe settings usually have limited web access. try going to http://192.168.1.1 then go to "internet interface" then "WAN configuration" below u will see a table of ur "current ATM vc table" click on the pencil icon then place a value on a MRU of 1460.. if it doesn't work change it 1492. make sure ur VCI is set to 35. hope this helps

Has anyone tried using Open DNS instead of Globe's default DNS servers?

The how-to on changing the DNS on your particular machine is HERE (https://www.opendns.com/start/computer/)

Hi Dan, Same solution (http://digitalphotographer.com.ph/forum/showpost.php?p=721857&postcount=7) might work for you if you haven't tried it yet. :)

Just use a proxy website to access DPP (like proxify.com).

OpenDNS.com will solve your problems (I think 98% of the time). Got a call from Cid Estrada this weekend (DPP Member also) couldn't connect to DPP with Globelines and I told him about OpenDNS.com and he was posting pics again within minutes :)

To start using OpenDNS on your computer/laptop on a Globelines connection, click HERE (https://www.opendns.com/start/computer/)

John, unfortunately proxify.com now only allows subscribers only.

Anonymouse.com works though, it's what I use when I want to view and login to some sites anonymously.

it sure is a mountain climb accessing DPP with gobe. A lot of things should be done to gain simple access. this is the only forum site i have problems such as this :(

when i am using my laptop, no matter what free wifi connection i am using (chowking, burger king, total gas station), i cannot log on directly to DPP. I have to use vtunnel.com to be able to access it.
Is Vtunnel safe and virus free? because i noticed that everytime i type in DPP site in vtunnel, there's always a pop up site appearing in my screen. why kaya?

you can do some things on your connection

set your primary dns to 4.2.2.1 and secondary dns to 4.2.2.2
set your MTU or Maximum Transmission Unit to 1492 or 1300
reboot your router or modem and try reconnecting again...

if not, call globe, ask for a manager, if they tell you there isnt one they are just alibis...
ask for a manager and they should be able to help you, the one in the front lines are all agents who do nothing so be assertive and do not
forget to take down their names... hehe you will be their worst nightmare... I know I was hehe

I've been having troubles as well. Either I use the Open DNS fix or I use www.kproxy.com.

problems also with sun broadband (the dongle type). tried calling sun, but they just don't know what to do. opendns works for a while and then it won't again.

we're trying to move the servers to a local one.

Hello Everyone...

My ISP is Digitel and I sometimes experience the same... I PMed the Admins and Mods and wasn't able to get any response. I think it also goes with the website itself. I hope Admins and Mods of DPP can look into this...

No PM received on our end. As much as we want to fix it, it's the ISP's resolution problem really. We will be migrating DPP soon. Fixing final details.

Hmm.. I use globe at home too. I noticed this a couple months back. I never really bothered because I`m always at the office, I can access the site just fine here(PLDT ata gamit dito).

If the site is not under maintenance/down and using proxy sites or Changing the DNS worked, then the main problem is with DNS servers that your ISP uses. They'll have to do some maintenance work with their servers.

Until then, work around for this one is really to use a proxy site or much better is to set your router's DNS server and use any universal DNS or what they call open DNS. (eg. Primary DNS 208.67.222.222 and Alternate DNS 208.67.220.220). There is a lot of DNS available out there.

HTH :)

The recent server maintenance by DPP may have solved this problem Globe users experience with this site. I am now able to browse DPP without open DNS since the maintenance finished. Yey!
