Alvin Carpo and I switched cameras last night. I gave him my DSLR and he gave me his point and shoot, and we ran around the weedfields near Southwoods, Biņan trying to outdo each other, searching for the perfect wallpaper for our computers. :-)

I've always liked the ixus's output. its a good p&s and so are your shots.

Thanks migs! It's actually the IXUS which inspired me to take photography seriously. I've done everything with it and next thing I knew, I was looking for manual settings. :) That's when I got myself an SLR. :)

mitz i like your first two images, very clean, nice framing and simple. i like what youve done with the ixus.

Joking aside, these are wonderful outputs from a P&S. All taken in auto mode?
I also like the ones taken with the DSLR, painting like effect, yellowish hues gives a calming feel.

Thank you. All are taken in either manual or digital macro mode, similar to DSLR's P mode. But I don't remember tweaking the exposure, so it's the same as shot in auto. :)
Next time reddish naman ang kunan ko, pero kumpleto. :Grin:
