View Full Version : footsteps into the unknown: Ultra violet flowers
Carlo R. Lopez 11-16-2006, 12:47 PM here are some shots of ultra-violet flowers shot in tagaytay. My god the possbilities are endless shooting in this invisible spectrum. images rendered are ala alice in wonderland. for those of you versed and familiar with the work of dr. bjorn rorslett, you have an idea of how this can be obtained. all is needed is a Uv sensitive lens and imagination:)
all shots taken with rayxar-zeiss 75mm f1.1 enjoy

Thanks louie:) i used the same lens in these shots. not as interesting. these shots though are only possible with tabletop objects or even close quarter shooting due to the extreme shallow dof. there is no focus/aperture ring. so setting up the shots is of extreme importance.

@ zandy, or a twisted children's book. as for the printing im pretty sure some of them will come out a bit muted.
