Hi Guys,
I have a question. I shoot using the RAW file format and convert it to JPEG once I'm done processing/cropping it.
After cropping/processing the images taken, what are/is the correct Image resolutions to convert the image for future use? (for resizing, etc)
My camera has 12.1 MP's and I always use the highest number MP's.
Thanks all! :)

In essence, if you're not printing, the DPI figure has no relevance on screen. What's important is the resolution of the image (vertical x horizontal pixels) in determining the size you see on screen, the dpi figure when you look at the exif is meaningless for screen/web display.
Your 12MP image will always be 12MP whether it's 72dpi or 300dpi, the physical size of the image doesn't change.

Thanks for the information, David! I'll be reading the links you provided.

Hi David,
Is it best to set the resolution of an image using the DPI or PPI and not the actual resolution size? e.g. 800x600, etc..
Thanks. :)

Santino, as mentioned previously...
In essence, if you're not printing, the DPI figure has no relevance on screen.
So, it's the other way around, the DPI/PPI doesn't matter if you don't print. 800x600 is 800x600 regardless of DPI.

I see. It somehow got me jumbled up.
Thanks, David.
