.

That's a huge and awesome lens at f2.8, wow! The cropped "eyebrow" shot is scarily sharp.

Would you happen to remember what the tripod was and the ballhead that was used in that setup?

From the pictures, it looks like a Gitzo tripod and Novoflex ballhead because of the distinctive blue collar.

Thanks guys! Thought it was a Gitzo, just wasnt sure. Must be a good combo, head and legs, for the store owner to carry the weight of the Nikon 400mm f2.8 secured with a tie down, security cable.

there was another lens displayed on the other corner of the store, i think it was a Nikon 600mm f4. unfotunately there was no body attached to it.

its like holding a bazooka!

hi dindin,

unfortuantely, our attention was focused on the 400mm. sarap pakinggan ng d200 doing continuous shooting mode, parang machine gun! no pics for the 600mm  though.

If I remember Man Shing's store layout , those two huge lenses (400mm & 600mm) stood out prominently on the display floor being it, Man Shing, having a narrow, deep store configuration and not really being spacious. Unless they've done some store renovations, I may be wrong.

That's nice, "magka-Shing" itsura na both sister stores Wing Shing and Man Shing. When did they reno Man Shing, must have been recently?
