hi guys just want to share these photos using a vivtar lens 400mm f5.6-22 that i got from flea market by chance for just 10$.. all photos were taken on the near lake along our apartment.. hope you like it..

not bad..not bad at all..
but the first one..i think the focus is not the head? it seems a bit soft...

@princess im just using olympus e-300
actually that lens is for canon i just modified it to fit my camera..
it just took me 20 mins to capture all that pictures exept the moon.. daming birds d2 sa lake e.. :)

yeah i little bit soft but what can you ask for.. for 10$ lens :)

Absolutely nice value there Jimmy for a mere 10$. :) The images are of good contrast and sharpness!

@ archie.. yup it is a droplet cause the duck it takin a bath :)

@tok, thanks man,, hahaha tyempo lng. pang canon film camera nga ito e.. modified ko lng para pumasok sa olympus :)
actually i can still get a good bokeh if the subject is about 13-16 ft away but still soft...

i guess that's the reason why most oly users are put off by the OM adapter. you will have a hard time focusing because of the small VF (inherent of most DSLRs).. but the results are worth the hard time =b especially on those OMs!

A very nice find. I was able to get two good lenses for my KM 5D /Sony A100 for $25 each which worked really fine. Originally intended on dismantling them for my education on internal lens consttructions.

@gil.. good for you, im sure your a100 IS works perfectly... yun kasi downside nitong lens.. 2 out of 5 lng ang usefull lahat blurred na specially kung walang tripod..try to look at pawnshop im sure marami lens na available kaya lng nde 10$...
