Tenorio Manila FRESH TALENT 2007 Calendar
Manila's first NEW-TALENT Exposition on Print
Tenorio Manila's main advocacy is ART & DESIGN TRAINING AND EDUCATION, specifically programs that are oriented towards developing new talent in the country. We believe in the Filipino talent and are inspired so to present to these younger set of designers and creatives possibilities in careers in design and design-oriented manufacturing.
For 2007, Tenorio Manila will be launching the country's first publication dedicated exclusively to new talents in creatives and photography: FRESH TALENT 2007 - a full 12-panel designer calendar featuring the images of Tenorio Manila's chosen set of its creative-collaborators. 12+ images by fresh talent in photography, modeling, styling, and fine arts will be featured in this calendar. These calendars will be distributed to 1000 + of the most prestigious offices, design centers, schools, and designer-households in the region.
ALL FRESH TALENTS are encouraged to send in their entries. Please e-mail a low-resolution JPEG image (72dpi, at least 8inches wide in dimension) to shoes@tenoriomanila.com on or before Sunday 26 November 2007.

CONCEPT REQUIREMENTS:
<LI style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">The image should contain at least one Tenorio Manila shoe/pair as part of its composition. The image of the shoe should be recognizable "as a shoe". Details of the shoe are ok to have too. A selection of shoes may be borrowed and picked up from Tenorio Manila's Pabrika with a map at www.tenoriomanila.com/map (http://www.tenoriomanila.com/map). <LI style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">The image can be about ANYTHING NEW/FRESH—any concept that supports and reinforces positive human values. The image may be a portrait, a fashion editorial, a landscape, an abstract piece, etc. <LI style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">Only original artworks or images created by the submitting talent will be allowed to participate. <LI style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">Brian Tenorio, Creative Director of Tenorio Manila, may be asked to join shoots. Pre-shoot coaching from Brian Tenorio is permissible. Please schedule with his secretary at tel 9331098 (any afternoon until late evening, weekdays at Marikina or by appointment at Makati).
Shoots may also be hosted in Tenorio Manila's Pabrika at Marikina City. Please discuss with the office of Mr. Tenorio your schedule for the shoot (telephones +63 2 9331097 to 98).
RULES:
1 Definition of FRESH/NEW TALENT: creatives who are one year from graduating from college/school, OR one year after graduation. So for the FRESH TALENT 2007 Calendar, those who are currently still in school who will be finishing by School Year 2007 and those who have graduated last 2006 are encouraged to join. If you are a recent graduate (less than a year ago) and are doing professional creative work already, you are still ok to join.
2 There will be no fees or cash prizes involved. All images will be credited with the name of the photographer/artist.
3 Should your entry be chosen, we shall request for a high resolution TIFF or PSD version of your image file.
4 Submissions may be in RGB or CMYK format. No print outs required unless you shall be sending us an actual photographic FILM-PRINT.
5 Collaborators in your images (models, stylists, make-up artists, etc.) are encouraged to be part of the submission too. These collaborators will be credited as well. These collaborators also have to be FRESH/NEW TALENT – new faces in modeling, new stylists, etc. (read the definition above).
6 Your contact information (you will be asked to specify which info to release) will be published in the calendar so that you may be reached by potential clients in the future.
7 All entries will be owned by their respective creators. Tenorio Manila has the right to use the images submitted for their 2007 FRESH TALEN T Calendar and other collaterals related to it and its promotion. If you need your physical-materials (non-file, or not in a CD) back, you may pick them up at Tenorio Manila' s Marikina Pabrika (www.tenoriomanila.com/map (http://www.tenoriomanila.com/map)).
