San Lazaro is different because we have a minilab there - they are one hour prints that dont need delivery. Also there is no minimum required inany of our branches. You can print only one instant (thermal printer) or thru minilab. If tru minilab if its over 200 pesos its free delivery. If below 200 you pay 55 for delivery.

When did you install a mini-lab at SM San Lazaro? I don't think I noticed it the last time I went there (when you had me hold a training seminar). :D

We're a frequent customer there, and yea, they have a minilab already, they once printed 100+ of 4Rs for my sister in just an hour. :) I think they can print all sizes already except for the big ones like 11x14.

I just noticed that the colors are not the same when printed at SMSL than when we had it delivered? The delivered ones are more vivid I guess? Or did they edited it in digiprint hq before delivery? *Our monitor is not calibrated though*

sir miguel, if i have the digiprint color profile applied to the image even if my monitor isn't calibrated would it have the same colors in my screen when printed? i went to digiprint to print one of my photo on a 12x18 metalic, when i received the print yesterday it seemed darker than the original file, color profile was sRGB. does images with srgb color profiles really become darker when printed?

I'll answer this question :D

Actually, you just discovered the answer on your own.

Using the color profiles supplied by any print supplier is a bit useless if your display monitor is not calibrated and profiled.

Yes, the supplied print profile gives you a destination color space to use for gamut mapping or color space conversion.

But, that's all that it does. It does nothing to help you achieve a good match between the display monitor and the print on its own.

You still need to get your display monitor calibrated and profiled accurately on a regular basis in order to achieve a good match between screen and print.

Cheers!
