This is my first few tries of Infrared. It wasn't that sunny though so I didn't get that effect I wanted. But infrared can surely slice through that haze and see all the hills even in the horizon.

Here's a test I did before going there

Me too I like the second one. Very nice! :)

Did you rechip your dslr? Or did you use an IR filter?

Another vote here for the second photo, nice shot :)

Just wondering did you have your camera converted for IR photography or simply used an IR filter then a little PP in PS?

hochi, Randall, I used am IR filter.

The hill shot was a little bit overcast and it rained a few minutes after I took that shot.

Is that the Hoya R72 on a Nikon? How long was the exposure?

Really great shots. I especially like the depth and reflection on the pool. :D

here's also my share of chocolate hills in color infrared shot last month. used a hoya R72 filter but wasn't able to get enough good white balance for IR. no pp channel mixing here, just levels and curves:)

Where can one get a Hoya IR filter in Manila?

That's nice willie, I think you had better weather that day. It's always hazy and cloudy over there. I'll be there next month so I can take that sunny IR again.
