Hello Guys!

I'll be starting this thread to get a feel on how many are interested in joining another food EB.

Based from the initial input that we got from some forum members - we might be shooting JAP FOOD. :)

Details:
What: Food Photography EB
When: possible options are: 11Nov, 12Nov, 18Nov or 19Nov
Cuisine: Japanese Food
Where: to follow (Carlo - bro, do advise if we could still hold this in one of your restos. thanks!) :)

sir, you can definitely use the 18-70 to shoot food... thats a versatile glass you got there.

im pretty sure the other photogs wldnt mind you trying some of their gear.:)

you can try my 50 and 105 if you like:). share share po ng gear:)

thanks for accommodating man.

guys any suggestion on the time? lets hold it during off peak hours of the of resto so as not to disturb their clients. so its either early morning sa 10am or after lunch 2pm?

what do you guys think?

verns - a macro glass would be nice. but during the last food EB we used different lenses... 50, 17-55, 105, 28-135IS....heck lets try shooting with your 70-200 VR :)

might be good just to work with what we have ex natural ambient lighting . so that we can practice to take advantage of any scene's lighting when we dine out

Camera Lord Mon told me to get 50mm since "50 pieces ang order ko last week, 20 nalang natira. Bilhin mo na. 3900 LANG" I only had 200 bucks left and a stored value MRT ticket. shucks

Japanese food after a workout is better. My friend and I shared 32 plates of sushi at Sakae Sushi after a short run. Can you imagine what the damage would be if we ran 20K? LOL!!!

what we did last time was... for everyone to order something - food and/or drinks (of course this should be shouldered by the individual who ordered it)... then we took turn to shoot the food (batch system:)) ... then eat... share and have fun!

of course we are always open to any suggestions...:)

Its been really fun to meet all of you, though I have'nt had the chance to talk to the other guys much.. hope to had the chance again next time. The food is great! This is my first food photo session, now I know that next time, I should eat first... I really can't concentrate much in an empty stomach, hehe :)
