this does not have the swivel LCD like the s3is.

Hi burke.. it seems you haven't decided yet on which..

I think you had been at www.dpreview.com (http://www.dpreview.com). you can check out their full reviews for both cameras..

or as an alternative.. www.imaging-resource.com (http://www.imaging-resource.com), they also have full reviews to both units..

the advantage of a swivel lcd is that you can be adventurous with angles of your photos without guesswork (meaning you could compose better at very low and very high angles).

if it isn't only that expensive, i would recommend the sony R-1 camera.. 10MP prosumer cam with a bigger sensor.. (which hopefully translate to less noise) 12x Carl zeiss lens.. swivel lcd din.. but then mahal nga.. :D

DPreview rates the S3 higher than the R1, though, di daw maganda image quality.

DPreview rates the S3 higher than the R1, though, di daw maganda image quality.

the sensor counts though but then the in camera processing rates much higher..

well.. hehe :D

numerous advantage.
dont even think about buying a camera without swivel LCD.

there are times when you need to position the camera back against the wall due to lack of space..

i have one.ok naman.u can use it 4 higher angles.no need 4 lcd to swivel.
